Exercise: Extend the Signal Brief

Mission

The Meridian crew has unlocked Beacon Sight. The main briefing already has its title (<h1>) and two big sections (<h2>); now the rescue team needs increasingly specific information beneath them.

What you'll build

A signal brief that keeps the existing <h1> and <h2> headings, then adds every remaining heading level from <h3> through <h6> plus a source-only note.

Your Task

  1. Under the first <h2>, add an <h3> naming the signal source.
  2. After it, add an <h4> naming the location.
  3. After it, add an <h5> naming the access route.
  4. After it, add an <h6> with a final check.
  5. Add an HTML comment immediately above the new detail headings explaining what they describe.

Checkpoint

Run the page. Each new detail level should appear smaller than the level before it. The comment should remain visible only in the editor source.

Payoff

The Meridian crew can now turn a broad emergency signal into a readable chain of rescue details.

Hint 1
1 / 2
HINT 1

Keep one level nested under the preceding level: h2, then h3, then h4, and so on.

HINT 2

A comment starts with <!-- and ends with -->.
